This programme gives your worn climbing shoes a second life. By repairing, re-soling and reconditioning them with repurposed materials, we can keep more shoes in use and out of Singapore’s waste stream.
Around 24 billion pairs of shoes are manufactured globally each year, yet only a small proportion are collected for reuse, recycling or refurbishment. In land-scarce Singapore, extending the life of the products we already own is an important step towards reducing waste and building a more circular economy.

Donated shoes that pass our condition assessment will be cleaned, repaired and reconditioned before being offered to another climber. Where a complete restoration is not possible, usable components may be recovered for future repairs.
By donating your shoes, you are helping us create a longer and more circular lifecycle for climbing footwear—one resole, one repair and one additional climb at a time.
Donate one accepted pair of climbing shoes and receive $10 off your next resole. Reconditioned climbing shoes will be available from S$80.00 with delivery charged separately.
All donated shoes are subject to a condition and hygiene assessment before acceptance. The discount is issued only for pairs accepted into the programme. Do not bin your old shoes. Give them another chance to send.

Please place your shoes in a bag clearly labelled with your name and contact number. Hand the bag to the counter staff and let them know it is a shoe drop-off for Re-Soul!
Can shoes be collected or delivered?
Once your repair is complete, we can post them back to you for a $5 delivery fee. Other collection arrangements can be made via WhatsApp.
How does the assessment process work?
Once we receive your shoes, we will inspect the soles, rands and overall condition to determine what work is required. If the repair needed is different from what you originally requested, or if we identify additional work that may affect the price, we will contact you before proceeding.
What happens if a repair develops a fault?
We stand behind the quality of our repairs. If you believe there is a problem with the workmanship, please contact us with your name, repair details and photos of the issue. We will assess the shoes and, where the problem is related to our workmanship, we will work with you to put it right. Normal wear and tear, damage caused by use, or deterioration of the original shoe materials would not normally be considered a repair fault.
Which shoe brands and models can be repaired?
We can repair most brands and models of climbing shoes, including shoes from major manufacturers such as La Sportiva, Scarpa, Tenaya, Evolv, Five Ten, Mad Rock and others. Repairability depends more on the condition and construction of the shoe than the brand itself. If you're unsure, send us a few clear photos and we can advise whether your shoes are suitable for repair.
How can someone tell whether they need a basic resole or rand repair?
A basic resole is usually suitable when the climbing rubber on the bottom of the shoe has worn thin but the rubber around the toe—the rand—is still intact.
A rand repair is normally required when wear has progressed through the sole and started to damage the rubber wrapping around the toe. Signs include a visible hole, thinning or splitting around the toe area, or the underlying material beginning to show.
For the best results, we recommend resoling your shoes before a hole develops in the rand. This generally keeps the repair simpler, less expensive and helps preserve the original shape of the shoe.
